Rumors abound that Drumpf has the virus. Many who have been around him are testing positive.

It doesn't mean a thing
The 26 (25 if you consider the Italian self-imposed quarantine) EU countries that Trump has banned from entering US soil are part of the Shenghen agreement, meaning you can travel from and to any of those countries with your own national ID card, no passport needed, UK included until Brexit gets finalised, how can they ascertain that any passenger traveling to the US from a British airport hasn't recently been in mainland Europe??
There's no stamping or anything else to prove it. It's dumb and discriminatory as fuck towards Europe as a whole
Let me tell you, US and UK politicians are not taking this whole thing seriously at all, meanwhile they are isolating the only countries that are actually doing something about it
Look who these “leaders” are? Not sure about Boris, but drumpf is a complete moron. Even his professors at Wharton College said he was dumb as a rock (apologies to rocks everywhere). He’s an idiot surrounding himself with other idiots. Boris looks a bit better. Which isn’t saying much. But I don’t know that much about him other than what I’ve seen in the US “newz“.

The prime minister has said the UK will remain in a ‘containment’ phase but added that extensive preparation was under way to move to the ‘delay’ phase, as containment of the virus is ‘extremely unlikely to work on its own’
So he's basically suggesting that he only values and trusts the sanitary advice given by UK epidemiologists because they have higher standards than those of any other EU country? Quite the opposite perhaps
I fucking can't with this bozo clown What kind of fantasy world does he think he lives in?
He’s still better that “just wait it out it’ll get better on its own”, Dementia Donald Drumpf.

Precautions and all but no panick
Exactly! Panicking does no good. Just be prepared. Being Proactive, is how I like to look at it.

This is some scary sh!t. I’m older and was warned by doctor weeks ago “don’t get sick”. I’m very underweight and she said any little infection could be a disaster. I’ve stocked up and hoping for the best. Got a lot of Madonna’s videos.
But seriously, everyone take precautions according to your particular area. My little town (USA) is already out of hand sanitizer & rubbing alcohol. Especially in countries like the USA which is deliberately under-reporting cases because there are very few testing kits. Dump had restricted the USA from getting them from the WHO. Which is lunacy. The first batch from the CDC were defective. So is pretty effing scary. There are hotspots in CA, WA, DC metro, NYC areas. As well as at least 1 case reported in about 21 states. It spreads exponentially. It’s said 3 members congress were in contact with someone known to be infected. Maybe even Drump and Pence. We just don’t know for sure at this time. They were at an AIPAC meeting.
Italy got on the ball. Iran, not so much. And it’s affecting their very leadership! Europe as a whole seems to be doing s better job than the USA.
It’s gonna get worse before it gets better, sadly.
@XXL Thinking of you.
Everybody Please be safe.

And the irony is that while she was a homophobe she had no qualms with mingling paedophiles and the entourage that protected them, some royal family members included. Abhorrent and evil indeed
But yes she was a strong powerful woman! Hooray

And that's exactly the point of the matter, what people in Washington don't want and everything that yes, even someone like Hilary Clinton has fought against. The US governments and the CIA don't want the US to lose their grip on total control of the world (eternal militarisation, violence fostering and the US Dollar/ Saudi Oil as World Reserve currency introduced by Nixon, rather than a mineral resources based system, of which surprise surprise Africa is rich) and they will use and promote ANY candidate, ANY elected President, of ANY of the two only existing parties to achieve that goal
Ever asked ourselves why the West in general always turns a blind eye to the crimes committed in Saudi Arabia, to the children of Yemen they are slaughtering, one recent example, but has been working 24/7 for decades to demonize Iran? To the extent of even utilising Saudi Arabia and Israel to do so. One of many questions
This. Right. Here.

And can we please stop with the Madonna comparisons. The strong powerful women complex is poisonous, misleading and a tad juvenile. They are both strong powerful women but it doesn't necessarily mean that they should be equally celebrated.
I'd rather look at what a person says Vs what they actually do or have done, male or female
Madonna scores 10 on that one
Hillary minus 10
Agreed. I never would compare HRC and Madonna. Ever.
I love Madonna.

And that was 35 years ago. So how is this supposed prove any point in the present discussion. It's no different than Republicans claiming that the Democrats are the racists because they voted against the 13th amendment in 1865, while Republicans have ever been so nice to people of colour because Lincoln was Republican.
Also, why seems arguing about Hillary Clinton always so one sided in recent recent years? Of course its all about the negatives or irrational fear about things to happen once she became president, like WWIII. Appears to me as if many people still Looking for a desperate excuse why they did not vote for Hillary in 2016 or did not vote at all and in result helped Trump to ascend to the throne. I think there is much guilty conscience. And it will only get worse, if Trump wins another election. She is not even running this year, yet people will blame her.
She still acts and legislated like a Republican. Voted for Bush’s wars while Senator of NYC. A persons record is relevant to assess future behavior. She’s not a person of the people. She’s for the donor class. She herself said she has a different script for her corporate donors and one for everyone else. She’s not for the people. She’s for maintaining the establishment.

Couldn't agree more. Some people need to get over their two dimensional approach and vision. Saying Clinton with her awful track record was the wrong Dem nominee doesn't mean being a Trump supporter
As unpopular any opinion might be, we need to look at facts first and foremost. Her belligerence and foreign policy agenda alone is akin to that of ANY Republican candidate. It's the fabric of American unjustified imperialism that's been going on since 1945. Britain lost their Empire and their role. A new one was being birthed upon its ashes
One for all, advocating a no-fly zone over Syria=instant WW3. Reckless to say the least. Besides she should never have taken from Saudi Arabia, really poor taste.
Saudi Arabia is a co-partner in spreading Wahhabism, ISIS, repressive, misogynistic tendencies, 9/11, human rights violation unaccountability, you name it. So basically the same thing the US claims they are patrolling the world against. It makes no sense at all. Unless it does but in a very sinister way and for truly despicable goals.
US voters among the Democratic base should have gone with Sanders four years ago when they had a chance to
Hillary was a Republican and called a “Goldwater Girl”. She turned democrat when she married Slick Willie.

If young people in America are not going to bother to join in and vote for someone who holds ideas and values that would help them and so much of the American public, well they are pathetic. So tired of the apathy and downright ignorance and laziness of so many people. Voting for who is going to make decisions that affect your life is crucial and yet, so many just shrug, not bother and instead let the rampant right win out. As for Biden, well just a typical status quo politician who won't change much. Of course, he is a much better choice than the revolting Trump though.

The supposed "Bernie's army" just don't show up to vote. Yes, there are a lot of young people at his gatherings and who follow his various social media platforms, but this medium counts for little in the end because it does not turn into a ballot in the ballot box. Young people are rightly skeptical of the democratic process they have known since childhood, but they cannot change it if they do not participate in the democratic process.
Kinda looks that way. But we have more states to go. The southern states are primarily “red states” anyway. The main thing is getting trump out. That we all can agree on. Time will tell.

As of today It’s it Montgomery County, Maryland, a suburb of Washington, DC. 3 tested positive. A 50 yo woman and a 70 yo couple who’d been overseas.

DOW loses over 1000 points.

I am not attacking you, but this is a straight-up myth. Hillary got almost 66 million votes in 2016. The only candidate in history to get more American votes was Barack Obama (both in 2008 and 2012). She received more votes in that election than Bill Clinton did for either of his Presidential runs, or George W. Bush.
Hillary's flaw, and it IS a real one, was that she spread her operation too thin trying to sweep Georgia and Arizona. She should've focused on the Blue Wall state of Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.
So can we stop saying she didn't inspire people? A lot of women were inspired, and crushed the day after the election. Let's not discount her completely.
She couldn’t even fill a high school gym while Sanders was filling arenas with overflow crowds out and around the block.

Pete got completely shafted because of the debacle in Iowa. Had he been named the winner that evening, he would've had stronger momentum heading into New Hampshire and beyond. He ran an extremely competent and disciplined campaign. Very similar to Obamas in 08. It's such an eye roll that people were complaining that we was 'ripping Obama off' in his speeches and how he was running his campaign. I would've ripped Obama off too. BECAUSE HE WON. Twice.
Now they're all coalescing around Biden. I just can't fathom how anyone can see him as a strong general election candidate against someone like Trump. He's about as inspiring as a doorknob and has no true following outside the Dem elites. Say what you will about Bernie, but he inspires PASSION in his followers. Clearly, Dems learned nothing from 2016. Just unconscionable that they're rallying around, basically, a male Hillary.
More like a “democrat” drumpf. They’re a lot alike in that they can’t finish a complete sentence and keep forgetting people’s names and can’t remember where they are at any given moment.

Lotsa propaganda and misinformation out there. But I’m still cancelling a conference I was to attend (and meet my Congressman) in DC in a few weeks. I’ve been advised by my doctor I’ve got a “compromised immune system” because of my low weight. She advised against travel, especially meeting in groups and using mass transportation. So that really sucks, but I’d rather be lonely than sick or worse. Living in a smaller town does have its advantages....but it’s bound to hit here too.

Jesus! For once I’m glad I live in a relatively small town. One little grocery store a few miles away. Sometimes isolation is a good thing. Just me, my iPod, Bose headphones & Madonna’s entire catalog on shuffle. I’m also joining a dating site. Stay sanitized everybody....get soapy, get soapy, rinse and sing!
Seriously though. Be safe out there.

Democratic socialism is a tough sell in the US because there's almost no sense of community there. It's all about ME ME ME and at most your 'nuclear family.' So how do you turn such an individualistic society into one who cares about, well, society?
Exactly.
