Batuka is the daughter of Shanti Ashtangi, Two of Madonna's wildest rides!

wow I didn't M did that and was so deeply involved
we need more of these people/groups/organizations to come forward to inform the uninformed about Madonna's true involvement in these causes
While I applaud the Sandy Hook Center tweet, I don't think Madonna's involvement with any cause needs to be made public. True charity is anonymous. It's not done for publicity. It speaks to the strength of Madonna's personal character that we are only just hearing about this now (at least to my knowledge).

I love her typing at her typewriter throughout like she is narrating the story as she ponders the state of humanity. It doesn't feel preachy like the secret project did, as gorgeous as it was, this simply feels like an artist who really does care about the insane state of gun violence in America.
Exactly. Which fits in with Madame X, the album, the character, the artist, perfectly.
Madonna has shared with the world another part of her artistry, personality and humanity. I'm in awe of her yet again and it feels great!

I'm pretty sure Pitchfork seeked out this cunt to review the album. This outrageous stunt has to be challenged. But where?! Metacritic?

ALL KILLERS/NO FILLERS DETECTED.
My love and admiration for Madonna is impossibly deeper than ever.
Can't wait to hold the physical in my hands. Can't wait to stream this till my body screams, FINALLY, ENOUGH LOVE!!!

I am weeping with joy and gratitude listening to this masterpiece of an album. This song is an absolute highlight among many. The universal, classically melodious Madonna song the world needed in 2019.

I think the more detailed reviews will come after the embargo period is done. Surprised that Rolling Stone have their shitty excuse for a review out already.

And thusly, a DARK BALLET was birthed.
"They are so naive – they think we are not aware of their crimes. We know, but we’re just not ready to act. The storm isn’t in the air, it’s inside of us. I want to tell you about love and loneliness. But it’s getting late now. Can’t you hear outside of your Supreme hoodie, the wind that’s beginning to howl?"

Guys, log off your social media accounts and enjoy this moment. Madonna brought politics to the stage when it most needed to be. And it was not a bad performance, like at all!

We all love Madonna and we want her to succeed. It’s tough to criticize her objectively, and I want to always celebrate her accomplishments. However, let’s be honest. This didn’t live up to the hype, and her performance was mediocre at best. She looked great, but her costume swallowed her up. Her vocal performance was unfortunate considering she was appearing as a headliner at a vocal competition. I think Madonna is finding her place with her new identity. She’s 60, and clearly he priorities as a performer have shifted. But there’s some fine tuning to focus on in my humble opinion because this wasn’t a good precursor to a theater tour. I’m disappointed, and I’m kind of weirded out by my own feelings. I need a glass of wine, and I’ll watch it a few times to pick up on the subtleties I probably missed live.
This made me genuinely sad. I can appreciate the feeling though.

I don't understand the negative comments. As a fan, the whole thing was a dramatic, nerve-wracking and beautiful treat. It was probably more political commentary than pure entertainment, which (as a first-time Eurovision viewer) is fine by me.
Not everyone is comin to the future! Not everyone here is gonna last!

LAP: She looks bulky, bit static, hope she doesn't fall!, she sounds good singing this great song with lyrics that always electrify.
Spoken word interlude: JAW IS ON THE FLOOR. She throws major shade on Israel and I'm loving it.
Future: The mood changes fluidly. Wish Quavo wasn't there. Love the trumpets, the rather appropriate lyrics, and the falls in the end.
Oh, and FUCK Twitter.

In the clip, she sounds as in Es El Pato Loco and I'm Going Bananas

The cover! So effortlessly beautiful...
This era is old-school exhilarating!
And Madonna remains, simply, the greatest woman to ever walk the earth.

I love the Portuguese azulejos (the patterned blue tiles) reference in the Super Deluxe cover.
Really like all the covers, but the Deluxe cover is my favourite. It's timeless, dramatic and, simply a beautiful image

This song is an absolute Madonna classic. The melody, the bridge, her voice, the universal lyrics which can be interpreted as how the listener wants them to be, unexpected little touches here and here. The "loh-oh-oh-oh-cah" parts are just pure miniature ecstasy.
