Great news that it looks like we'll all be getting vaccinated in the coming months, hopefully this time next year, Covid will be behind us!!

Something else will come up. The world is changing, and a lot of structures have to come down.

We haven't gone through Covid only to go back to how things were before.

The shelter-at-home/social-distancing thing isn't the hard part for me...it's the anxiety that just doesn't go away. The fear of not just what's going on, but how it's being handled (and NOT handled, frankly), what's true vs what's not true, what's to come, etc...  Just trying to keep calm and sensible, while staying properly informed, is far harder than it seems. I'm forcing myself to take several days break from media consumption because it's just too much.

Even making a grocery/supplies run feels scary. It shouldn't, but it does. Going only 1 day a week (if that), first thing in the morning. Worked pretty well the other day.

I mostly abandoned the TV and news because all they talk about is the virus, and it's turned into a clusterfuck. I can inform myself of the relevant news in about five minutes every day. No need to torture oneself beyond that imo. So I've been studying japanese, and making art, cooking, etc.. it doesn't have to be as horrible as it can.

  4. They're saying now that one of the reasons why the death percentage is a little lower is because there's still capacity in the system to take care of the people who got it.

But in a few weeks when many more start getting sick the hopitals will be overflowing, and the death percentage will be much higher.

To be honest I don't know which is worse, getting sick right now and actually getting treated. Or get sick later and there not being a hospital bed for me and stuff. Same thing for my family.

    This is very scary.

People lives are far more important than any market. I feel proud that this time people mattered more than economy in many countries.

It could actually cause a problem bigger than that. Perhaps kill more people than this virus ever could by itself. You'll see what I mean in a few weeks.

I connect strongly to some of what you're saying. I'm really concerned about both my parents. They're elderly and have some underlying medical issues which I believe would make it more difficult for them to survive if they contracted the illness.

Also, continue following all precautions, but try not to live in fear. You need to stay calm and level headed even under these trying times.

Thank you Nick. I hope you and your loved ones are victorious through this. It is scary in more ways than one, and I don't know what's gonna happen to the financial system. It has a domino effect potential, of a total catastrophe. Let's pray that it isn't the case. Let's stay calm and level headed like you said. It's the best we can do right now

  7. I'm not gonna lie guys, I'm scared.

I have some health issues, and the situation is becoming more scary every day. I've been to the market and the supplies are getting bad. People on TV are saying that millions could die, and my father is very meak right now. If he gets the virus, he's history.

And whenever I stop to think about this, I get very scared. Because this virus speads like nothing we've ever seen. And if we have to keep the whole system in lockdown for too long, it will crumble.

And that's what biggest fear is. We can't sustain food, water, energy and money, if everybody's in lockdown. What are we supposed to do?

  8. I'm gonna say one thing again that I've been saying non-stop since the album came out.

This is the big hit from the album, it's the Bitch I'm Madonna of MadameX. If they release it properly and do a video. Unfortunately, looks like it ain't happening. But I still have hope. Maybe Anitta and Madonna can do a live performance together on MadameX Tour, and maybe that could be the video? Who knows..

  9. This is very heartbreaking, and it must be so scary to everyone living there.

I'm not a father, but I can imagine how anyone with children must be feeling. Scary..

But also, I have to say one thing. Americans have had the right to carry guns for a long time now. I don't understand why this is happening so much all of a sudden. It is confusing. To be quite honest, it reeks of a political agenda.
