  1. The track listing is actually pretty decent but I'd make a few changes...

    Dark Ballet

    God Control

    Medellin

    Future

    Batuka

    Killers...

    Crave

    Crazy

    Come Alive

    Ciao Bella

    Extreme Occident

    Faz Gostoso

    Bitch I'm Loca

    Looking for Mercy

    I Don't Search I Find

Bonus tracks: I Rise, Funana, Back That Up

Does anyone else feel really satisfied with the tracklisting / sequencing on this album?

I have to say it's so refreshing to listen through a new M record again without the need to mess with the tracklist. The whole album flows so well from start to finish!

With MDNA, I had to kick out most of the Solveig songs first and reshuffle the whole thing, while with RH I basically created my own album  (albeit a very good one, still love RH). This one is just perfect - despite the variety of styles everything is tied together flawlessly.

I pretty much agree, I listened to the album on shuffle in the gym this morning and it just didn’t feel right. MDNA and RH were just a collection of songs, MX is an album that has a structure and it really works.

The only difference I would make is to make IDSIF the last song.

Still a lot of casual fans aren’t even aware of Medellin or the album. People older (like my friends ) don’t really stream or download or watch music channels.  They would rely on a performance on a prime time show or something . And that failed

I was telling a colleague at work today that I got a ticket for the MX London shows. There were a bunch of us and they were saying ‘Madonna hasn’t released an album in years’! Obviously I corrected them but all they then talked about was the Eurovision disaster. I’m 38 and my colleagues vary from 25-50ish and no one new Madonna still made music!!!

On the plus side one of them listened to some of MX on lunch break and loved it, so I’ve done my bit 👌

  4. Choose one of the two :

    Medellin/Living For Love

    Dark Ballet/Devil Pray

    God Control/Ghosttown

    Future/Unapologetic Bitch

    Batuka/Illuminati

Killers Who Are Partying/Bitch I'm Madonna

    Crave/Hold Tight

    Crazy/Joan Of Arc

    Come Alive/Iconic

    Extreme Occident/Heartbreak City

    Faz Gostoso/Body Shop

    Bitch I'm Loca/Holy Water

    I Don't Search I Find/Inside Out

Looking For Mercy/Wash All Over Me

    I Rise/Best Night

    Funana/Veni Vidi Vici

Back That Up To The Beat/S.E.X

    Ciao Bella/Messiah

    Soltera/Rebel Heart

    Madame X - 14 Rebel Heart - 5

    that was too easy!

  5. Okay, first listen complete. The album is incredible and Future and Crave work much better as part of the album as a whole.

Faves on first listen - Dark Ballet, God Control, Come Alive, Batuka, IDSIF.

Two criticisms - IDSIF should be 5 mins longer! Love it. I Rise should have been scrapped - it’s the worst song on the record by far and I still think it sounds like a RH reject. The album would end perfectly on Looking For Mercy

  6. Opening theme (inc excerpts of Bedtime Story, Illuminati, Secret)

    Illuminati (with Vogue rap)

    Oh Father

    Drowned World (video interlude)

    Ghosttown

    Unapologetic Bitch

    Candy Perfume Girl

    American Life (acoustic)

    Devil Pray

    S.E.X. (video interlude)

    Justify My Love

    Holy Water

    Bodyshop/Candyshop
