  1. Orbit thinks he's THE Madonna producer (and i don't blame him, ROL is amazing) but after ROL he didn't bring anything new to the table. Amazing? Sinner? They're Beautiful strangers. Masterpiece? The instrumental isn't anything special. Falling Free? Could have easyily been a ROL track. I'm not saying they're bad songs or that I don't like them, but that's the truth, they're not innovative for M at all. Gang bang, Love spent and Some girls are a whole different story, but there were other producers on the tracks too so he can't take all the credit.

  2. Yesterday I was listening to the album and got really curious about the last line of Secret garden:

    "Somewhere in Fontainebleau

    Lies my secret garden"

I googled Fontinebleau and "is a commune in the metropolitan area of Paris, France. (...)Fontainebleau is renowned for the large and scenic forest of Fontainebleau, a favourite weekend getaway for Parisians, as well as for the historical Château de Fontainebleau, which once belonged to the kings of France." (god bless wikipedia)

Sounds like she really likes that place, does anyone know the story behind this?

  3. I don't think MDNA era was all that bad, the album did well and the tour was magnificent. She did some interviews during the tour and also the fb chat. The only thing it lacked was a promo tour (what for when we have an actual amazing tour?) and magazine covers. Add 2 magazine spreads like the ones we've gotten so far and count me in for another MDNA scenario.

Anyway, in the end, isn't music the most important?

  4. It is, indeed. Jean-Baptiste said in an interview with MadonnaNewEra that he, Alain Whyte and Ryan Buendia originally conceived it as an instrumental track with a deliberate reference to "Hung Up".

Later, the song went through some revisions - at one point, it had four different entries in the ASCAP database, the original crediting only Jean-Baptiste, Priscilla Renea, Alain Whyte and Ryan Buendia.

Jean-Baptiste, Priscilla Renea and Madonna all contributed to the lyrics of the released version, according to Jean-Baptiste.

Wow, thank you for the info!
