Madonna and Beth Ditto in London today. COLLAB PLEASE
If by collab you mean writer, then absolutely!! Both her solo EP and her album Fake Sugar are pop genius IMO!

Wow that loop is excellent. Thank you so much!
-
......so you just need to lower your standards to appriciate it

I hope there are 13 songs on the album like Ray of Light. it's a magical number.
then bring on the deluxe and the super deluxe and the grande (all released months apart so there can be a new song as a single)
Yes, I love that idea! It would be so much nicer to know that there would be more to come later down the line. I found being presented with 25 songs all at once rather overwhelming.

MORE SPIKE.
Yes!

Oh no not M joining the whole “I hope she releases a turd sandwich just to piss all you fans off” brigade

She doesn;t need a new demographic, She just needs to reconnect with people that love her
Agree with this.
She must have the widest demographic of fans among any living artist already. Sure make some new fans along the way but not at the expense of the actual music and creating “flash-in-the-pan” naff collabs (eg 4 Minutes).

Madonna fans are tech savy enough to download the album illegally. They arn't tech savy enough to stream it.
Oh and to buy it? They'd rather spend the money on Kylie Deluxe Editions or Bjork/Kate Bush re-issues.
What?!?!?

She just started following Mike Dean on Instagram & he is in London, wonder if he is doing production again on the album? He co-produced Illuminati, Holy Water, S.E.X, Inside Out, Wash All Over Me & Autotune Baby on RH.
Can’t say Mike Dean fills my heart with too much joy. For me personally he and Kanye missed the mark with Rebel Heart, though some of his work for Kanye West is amazing

What a lovley update!

I don't think that means she is working with him, doubt any rappers will be on the album after what she said a few months ago but who knows maybe Interscope forced her into including more rappers?
I doubt anyone forces M to include rappers.
This guy’s shit. I understand why she doesn’t work with someone like Frank Ocean.

.......so she was singing from her bathroom on snapchat.

I can’t take this “mix tape” thing seriously. I honestly just saw that when she posted and thought absolutely nothing of it (like I usually do). She posts so much random crap, it’s a struggle to believe that it’s somehow some cryptic message.

And Kanye. He did good with Hard Candy but completely mutilated and butchered Rebel Heart, sucking the life out the tracks..
Kanye didn’t produce anything on Hard Candy, just a rap verse feature. It’s a shame he didn’t shine on RH, really sloppy work, and I like a lot of his productions.
Can’t deal with people complaining about Mirwais and Orbit’s production skills. I don’t think I dislike anything either has produced. They’re both outstanding. Yeah MDNA has its issues but that’s through no fault of Orbit.

Enough with slagging off America Pie. It’s exquisite. End of.

Here is what Mirwais did for Sophie Calle, a contemporary artist. It’s brand new, the album is out since yesterday:
Beautiful. Thanks for bringing this to my attention! A whole album dedicated Sophie Calle’s dead cat!! Interesting.
....also I see Lauren is back London!

her tone of voice whether over-autotuned or not, sounds so pretty. no one could recognise her age when hearing her voice.
See now this comment scares me
I really hope she doesn’t think filtering her voice disguises her age too. Personally I don’t get the baby-tone, I know this song is distorted to hell and back but she doing it and it’s annoying. She doesn’t “sound old” she just has a low-register than she did at 25, I don’t understand the point of replicating it

In Wikipedia she appears as one of the writers (but not a producer). Can anyone confirm?
She certainly won’t get a producer credit. But there’s no way she’s didnt write her lyrics and the whole Champagne Rose bit - it’s waaaaaaay too Madonna.

I think Madonna's part is written by her as well. Isn't Rose her favorite drink? She always talks about drinking it.
ROSÉ She was drinking a cheap bottle of it at that Migos gig in the summer.

You can tell who here listens to rap and who doesn't. They always have samples that are distorted to sound weird sort of like her voice in this song.
I listen to rap. And yes there’s a lot of chipmunk vocal samples - made famous by Jay Z I think. Still doesn’t make this track worthy of my appreciation.

No it wasnt. Written by Quavo and others.
I was just curious at the thank you to Staarah from Lauren. She must’ve been involved some how. Madonna verse sounds 100% written by Madonna.
I might’ve actually bopped to this if she sang it her usual voice or her deep ‘n sexy voice.
-
Whhhhhhhhyy?? It could be mildly better if she’s wasn’t doing a voice. I don’t get it.....Can’t say I’m a massive fan of her “feats” but at least she sounds like herself and no an auto tune machine.
Was it written by Starrah?

....I’m hoping for something a little more obscure than Baby. As much as I’ve been bopping to this and Solo, I just want something a little more leftfield from M, which from looking at who she’s been with in the studio - I don’t think I’ll be disappointed.
