I voted early last week. I am hoping for a change in government the Liberals are horrible. So corrupt and have sold off everything and wiped out our forests and animals they just don't care and I will be disgusted if they get back in....But with the economy tanking and interest rates rising I am worried people will vote with their wallets and vote the Liberals back in due to the lie they are better economy managers. I hope I am wrong. I am in a liberal land but we voted teals in the federal election so I am hoping we can do the same again.

Yay i am so happy the evil is defeated. Mackellar voted independent & warringah smashed that transfobe! So glad that even with the Murdoch media bias aussies saw through the bullshit& voted the liberals out!

I agree re throwing tran people under the bus and trying to make a culture war like what the Republicans do in the US to win vote. Deves is doing Scummos work for him trying to get votes for those against change and equal rights etc hoping that will get him over the line.
The media is disgusting and totally one sided we readdy do need that Royal comission into Murdochs monopoly here as its become very obvious during the election that the media is now just Liberal propaganda now. I just hope they dont manage to brainwash people into voting for the Libs again who have done nothing for the country especially in the last 3 years.
I was so pissed at the PM during the fires. He doesn't give a shit about anyone and no money has been givem to people wholes lives have been destroyed by the fires same with Lismore after the floods. I really hope he is booted and a lot of the lib main guys like Dutton and Frydenburg and the fake gay progressive Tim.
However i do sense a change is coming similar to kevin 07. No matter how hard the media trys to get people to vote libs i think people can see through the shit and want them gone.
Im just worried that clive Palmer and his preferences to the libs will scrape morrison over the line again. We cant have 3 more years of him he will ruin the country and im super worried about the at religious discrimination bill as i fear he wants to wind back rights like the USA will do once Roe v Wade is overturned.

Just interested to see what the other Aussie members are thinking. Will be finally free of Morrison and 9 years of Liberal shit leadership or will the Murdoch and media propaganda and Clive Palmers fake party get the liberals over the line again?
Im excited as i live in Mackellar and we have a good independent who may actually win and boot the liberals out here who have had the seat for like 50years!
I am getting angry at that Transphobe from Warringah she is the electorate next to mine so i have to see her face and lies every day on my way to work. Horrible woman. Thankfullyno one likes her when she is on the community i see no one take her fliers or speak to her and she has hardly any helpers where as Zalia has so many helpers and signs everywhere and lots of support.
Praying for change in government for our future and the environment and to get rid of the corrupt bastards and Murdoch monopoly.

Ugh so depressed about the idiot new Premier. We already stuffed up the country with Galdys and her shitty response to covid and now we have let it rip dom in charge this will not go well. The only person happy about him is my partners dad who is anti vaxx and clive palmer/ Craig Kelly et al fan. Lets just say things get heated whenever we speak.
I really hate the direction we are headed in Australia at the moment. Housing prices are a joke, the economy is stuffed, our PM and government are shit and Murdoch controls all of the media and has brainwashed most of the country into thinking Libs good Labor bad. Just look at the attack job on Vic, QLD and WA leaders and the total oposite on Gladys woth the high covid numbers, deaths and long lockdown and then when she quit they didn't blame her for being corrupt like wtf.
Its very much like the US right vs left environment and that bull crap about freedom of speech being taken away when they are just upset they can'tbe racists or bigots and get away with it and hating equal rights.
Sorry rant over. I'm just really not enjoying it here at the moment. Now if our new Trump wannabe premier brings in this bullshit religious freedom bill by Mark Latham that attack LGBTQI rights or doesnt allow for euthanasia or removes abortion rights im outta NSW...if scummo wins again im seriously considering leaving OZ. NZ looking pretty good right about now!

I went to a big vaccination hub and we went into our line depending on our injection time. Once injected we sat in an observation area and after 15min if no issues we were free to go.
Only had a little sting in arm about 5mins after injection but it soon went away. I did fall asleep in the afternoon while watching Netflix so not sure if i was just tired or tored from the jab.
No other side affects just my arm was a little tender to touch. My partners arms was more sore than mine it hurt him everytime he moved his arm but a day later his arm was back to normal.
Looking forward to 2nd jab in 3 weeks time even though i hear you can get fever and feel fluish after it.

Getting first Pfizer jab today. Hopefully no side affects. People at work had different reactions most were fine after first jab and unwell after second but others were reversed and sick after first jab but not second.
Just happy to be finally getting the jab and to be fully vaccinated by 31 July.

Off to get my first jab of Pfizer today. Had to book 6 weeks ago for it but was able to book in both doeses. Next one is on 31 July. Glad to be getting vaccinated in the middle of Sydney's delta strain outbreak.

I did the same. Registered weeks ago and only got an email yesterday saying to go to government website to book. So bad. Just go onto the website now and book lots of spaces. Thats what i did weeks ago and booked in right away if i didnt just go online i wouldn't be getting jab until later on in year. Give it a go. As you're in your 40s you have lots of options. I agree. Monumental stuff up. Scummo went for AZ as cheapest and Australia can make it but its also the only one with no stem cells and as he is ultra religious i feel this was main reason why he put all his faith into AZ.
Which state are you in? Im in NSW and can get Pfizer as im just turned *gasp* 40. My partner is 29 so can't get it but i want him to get the vaccine as he is a chauffeur and has people in and out of car all day so is at risk and he has asthma and covid could really affect him. So i made him go on to the booking site and to try and book as i assumed asthma was a pre-existing condition and should be able to get it but no it wasnt an option so he picked another reason and it let him book so we both getting our jab on same day in 1 mths time and were able to book our 2nd jab appointment 3 weeks later.
A few people at work have done similar and were able to book in and they were not asked anything when they went to get jab just the name etc for the appointment. So if you are in NSW i suggest trying that approach if you want to try and get vaccinated asap?

I hope that people can now see how incompetent this man is after the handling of the Covid crisis and the deaths as a result and now his lack of leadership woth the protests.
I hope people register to vote so this man can be voted out and all those people who are not happy with Biden as they wanted Bernie and don't want to vote again this election put their pride aside & just vote for the democrats as i dont see how the USA can survive another 4 years of this man.

Ugh don't get me started on this mess of a government. Every day i get more upset with how hopeless they are.
At least people are starting to wake up. We had a protest in Sydney on Wednesday about climate change and 30k people showed up which is great.
Living in Sydney has been so bad the last month with all the smoke. I suffer from bad sinus problems so i have been really unwell the last few weeks. I could even smell smoke in my office building you cant escape it. You constantly feel it in your throat.
Meanwhile our idiot leader is only focused on religious discrimination amd he is determined to pass laws basically allowing religious people to discriminate against minorities and other religious communities instead of trying to stop the distruction of nsw due to the fires. Not only has so much land been lost, homes and human lives as well we have lost whole communities of koalas and other native animals. It makes me so sad.
Now he is busy having dinners with Murdoch and his cult religious leader from Hillsong and sticking up for 'quiet Australians' i.e. the bigots who want the minorities to stay silent so they can keep spewing their hate without repercussions.
I really hope his 'religious freedom' bill doesn't get through if it does it will open up a whole Pandora box of problems. It will be a nightmare for HR at work, businesses could refuse to serve people, all the charities that are religiously run same as hospital's could exclude to help people in need or who are ill who are not recognosed by their religion like the LGBT community.

I haven't stopped listening to it since it came out. I listen to it twice a day. Maybe its because im seeing her on 24 September but I'm not sick of it yet and never skip a song. But i do this to all her albums i play them non stop from moment they are released for years and years until i get over them. But i still revisit them agaian and again! #tragic #stan

She's a racist biggot and i hate her. In the 90s she hated asians. Then it was Muslims, now its the left wing and loss of freedom of speech (i.e. not being allowed to say racist and bigotry things with out repercussion).
Anyway her latest rant is about Uluru (Ayeres Rock) banning people climbing on it to respect the native owners of the land as it is a sacred site to them. She is claiming that Australians own Uluru and people should be allowed to continue walking on it.
So in her latest political stunt she set out to climb it in protest, but her stunt backfired when she freaked out after only a bit of her climb and had to sit on her bum and wiggle her way back down.

Fuck off @Samo you twat. I am so glad i live in Australia where we took action and introduced tough gun laws after a massacre. Whilst certain people can legally own guns like security armour guards, police and farm people i feel totally safe that i can go about my life and not have to worry about gun violence. Yes it may occur due to illegal guns or people with legal guns going crazy but i am very happy to live in a country where buying fire arms is very restrictive. At least i know if some one is crazy or mad or angry they can't in the heat of the moment lose their shit grab a gun and shoot up a place out of anger.

I wouldn't be shocked if the whole thing was planned and orchestrated by the 'Christian lobby' to be a legal test case so that they can argue religious discrimination. They knew he had already been warned about this before so i wouldnt be shocked if they told him to do it again and they will support him and ensure if he was fired they would help him take legal action against the firing.
Its obvious that the motivation is so that the christian lobby can try and win the right to be allowed to legally descriminate against the LGBT community! What a farce..arguing that they are being descriminated against so they can then be allowed to in their eyes legally descriminate against a group of people you condemn!
I am just worried that if they win this test case it may allow the extreme religious groups out there to be able to fire and exclude LGBT people from their schools etc and then it could become worse it may open up doors to allow religious fundamentalists to be able to refuse service to LGBT people as it is against their religion (whether it be in shops, or their hospitals etc it could open up a whole can of worms). This is why they want this case to go to court. I could be wrong and it may just be all about him getting his $5m back as this is the amount the new fund campaign is requesting and i thought that was the exact amount that he lost when his contract was terminated.
If you read any news site or Facebook post there are so many comments supporting him and religious freedom plus claiming descrimination and how they are sick of the snowflakes and madness and lefties ruining the country and the minorities dictating how everyone else has to live...no we aren't trying to ruin the country we just want everyone to be treated equally like everybody else without being persecuted.
They are just sad they cant be bigotts anymore. This world is going into such a bad place people are trying to take away euqal rights for minorities and it makes me sick that these people can't see that and that minorities are not trying to change the world for the worse we just want everyone to be respected and treated equally no matter who they are.
