Wow. What a condescending statement. As a German to hear from a foreigner, that has probably never stepped foot into my country, about the lessons learned by the German people from the Holocaust is most likely the most ignorant thing I have ever heard. I find it almost comical that other countries think it is appropriate to tell us how we should deal with our history. Especially, if my country is basically the only country on this planet that is dealing with its past in such an open and honest way. Of course, there has never been a nation that committed crimes against humanity to such an extent. So there is obviously a lot to deal with and the reason why this period is tought about at school in history classes for almost two full years. But there is hardly any nation on this planet that has not committed evil as well BUT there is hardly any public discourse about such events in such countries. Not at least from my perspective. Does Japan address the war crimes they committed? In the U.S. parts of society already making bold claims that slavery was a good thing because slaves learned some skills. Poland has a law that criminalizes statements that Polish citizens were Nazi collaboraters. The Soviet Union / Russia? What about Canada? What about the things they did to indigenous people?

Other countries should learn from Germany when it comes to dealing with your very own history.

i detect no condescending tone in what he wrote, on the contrary, your tone is condescending. projecting much ?

    Respectfully, I didn’t say the democrats weren’t!

Im Australian so have only been looking from the outside in (for a very long time). I also have quite a lot to say about how politics are run in Australia as well as many European parliaments.

I would personally classify Democrats as a Conservative Party. Have always found it very odd that progressive policies are used against them by Republicans when that’s the last thing they represent.

Yes, I very much will say that the Republican Party openly flirts with fascism and has done so increasingly for a couple of decades now. Party before people. Mitch McConnell is a (somewhat) living example.

Sadly the Democrats have relied on being the lesser of two evils for too long. And to be quite frank, the bigger issue that Americans are faced with is that they seemingly only have two choices to vote for if they want to vote at all. Yet the establishment stills screams about the benefit of a two party system.

Thats the insanity for me. How can only two parties benefit 300+ million people?

Anyhow, I don’t mean to insult the American posters here.

I agree with what you said there)

Let me guess, you are one of those people who believe the NSDAP was a socialist party?

maybe you are confusing me with yourself boo.

Im talking more about how the Democratic party forced Biden down our throats without a fair primary just an example.

ok, I have the same feeling. Well, my cousin won´t, but that´s it. I wonder why. I mean, is it the economy? the war? what has happened internally, nationally that has made so many people go pro trump?

For a lot of people The number 1 issue, is the economy. And it was doing better under Trump. It's shit under Biden. You see people tried 1 term of each, and most was better off during Trump's era, so they remember that and would rather have that.

He was the only viable opposition in RU. He has questionable past/decisions/nationalistic affiliations. However he was a hero even just for the fact that he decided to return back to RU, understanding he may be jailed and/or killed. He faced both. And Assange? Uou!

    yeah what's wrong with Assange?

I haven´t been following this thread, and I don´t know exactly which your opinions are. Also, my english is what it is, it works to laugh about gaga, but something so serious like this...well. But I have two very clear ideas in my mind about all this situation:

israel should stop killing people right now. Yes, they have won the  battle  already, thousands of dead people ago.

Rest of the world is seeing israel as what it is, a country that kills inocent people and, thanks to his friend USA, is going to get away with it. But the stories about the concentration camps, auswitz...these people in charge of israel are not close to that people

I am starting to believe that it´s true that there is something more behind all this situation: that news about wnating to build a new/bigger canal to the east of gaza, makes sense

yes and the oil and gas that belongs to Gaza, they want it all, Zionists also have a fantasy of clearing that land all to themselves.
