I was at this show and I am so happy that the MDNA tour was my first concert experience! I really thought that I wasn't going to be able to make it because of the price but when there's a will there's a way and I wasn't going to miss out on what I feel is one of Madonna's coolest eras. I was sitting in sec 110 and I was shocked to see how close I was to the stage. I didn't mind waiting at all and I felt that generally the audience didn't mind either. In fact, it wasn't until after ten that the arena was really filling up. Maybe people suspected that she would be late? The demographic of the audience was comprised mostly of middle-aged women in groups, perhaps wanting to revisit their glory days in High School.
Once the lights went off for GGW everyone in the arena stood up and starting screaming for Madonna. I think this surprised Madonna who I feel might have been a bit anxious/unsure after the audience of the previous night. She even made a remark during her monologue how much more lively the crowd was in comparison. However, even though the audience might have been an improvement to the previous night, I still felt that the only fault to my MDNA experience was the crowd. It really pissed me off to see people not only sitting down but checking their facebooks and emails! I could not believe it, why do you want to check out what your friends on FB are doing, you are seeing Madonna! I almost lost it when these two business men behind me, who had their arms crossed the whole time, asked me to sit down!
After the show, as everyone was leaving arena, I overheard a lot of people complaining about the lack of hits. I think most of the audience was not as familiar with the MDNA album like I was.
" People responded better to her old hits. I mean, I get that she inspires Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj. But she shouldn't change who she is by trying to do techno." -Drunken middle-aged woman
" Yea Madonna was alright. But she doesn't really do a concert, it's more of just a show. You know who does an amazing concert? Celine Dion, she is absolutely amazing!" -tasteless gay
Like a Prayer was definitely the concert highlight. Everyone was up singing and dancing and I'll never forget it. But I just feel like as an artist, Madonna is just misunderstood.

If you want to listen to old songs in their original version, then just put your cd and listen to it, but this is a live concert, a whole new experience.

She really pissed off Berlin fans for coming very late on stage, she and the dancers were watching the Germany -Italy soccer match. Everything has its boundaries, and sometimes she exagerated with being late. We slammed Beyonce for digital photoshpped fans, and now, will we get some virtual fans too ???

I still laugh at HAIRGATE from the first Miami show, what was she thinking lmao. Why does she always feel the need to change things for the DVD recording. I mean I am still crying over granny hair from DWT DVD compared to her amazing looks on every other show! But it all looks much better on the second night, thank fuck
me too, just desastrous. really, what was she thinking. I really would ask her, if she finds herself sexy with that hair

I hope we wll get all the energy from the show on DVD and hopefully they will not photoshop people to the audience as others do.
Personally I am a little bit disappointed that she exagerates going so late on stage. Especially on Monday when many have to go work the other day. Hopefully the second show will be better, or she should cancel Miami DVD and produce one in Rio. Hopefully it will not end like RIT.

I think there wil be some celebs as well. Like GLoria Estefan, who always visits Madonna when shes in Miami

Hopefully we will get additionally a documentary where she also comments on some scandalous behaviours on tour or expresses her opinion (although she did) about the Paris Gig. I want to know more about the dancers too, especially Chaz, Brahim and the black dancer wearing a peacock dress

This tour or better in this stage of her life, Madonna surprised me alot. She is more talktative and more inovativ. Of course, on S&S she had some gues surprises but on this tour, shes more comfortable and more relaxed on stage. She is getting better and better. I hope there will be more suprises on this tour, especially in SOuth AMerica.

so true. Why should she tell to the public, that she donated the condert incomes from one show ? If you donate, you dont talk about the money. Thats the rule. People trying to find in every step she does negativitiy, which is really silly recently
