For the last time: VIDEO IS BEING RELEASED TOMORROW, WEDNESDAY 17TH

It's useless, pointless, ridiculous having MTV to release only the song with NO VIDEO.

Madonna confirmed it, Maluma confirmed it. Also, Gregory Kara who made the white eyepatch M is using on the single cover revealed that Diana Kunst is the director and that the video is INDEED being released TOMORROW

Ok Jairo, I'm very happy all the backstage info you shared with us. I mean no offense and I'm just wondering because MTV is hyping "big news", not the video.

Could it be that this Gregory Kara is also unaware of the facts? Where did Madonna and Maluma confirmed a video premiere tomorrow?

Unfortunately, the U.S. still plays a huge role for her when it comes to success.  We've seen her locked out of the U.S. and still remain successful in Europe, but with the last couple of albums she's managed to lose a lot of support world-wide.  We can say, "why should she care" or "focus" on these regions, but a country like U.S. can really help her become a huge success. It's easy to say, "fuck U.S. market", but she needs it still.  It will never be like the impact of the 80's and early 90's. but U.S. is known to be nostalgic enough to make artists like Madonna rebound from time to time.  I feel she's due for a rebound.  She's been so close recently, but it's only been her tours which have made the most impact.  It would be nice to see her albums have a little more success and respect even among her home country.

I'll be interested to see what the Grammy's for her new album. This could help her be more successful in the U.S.

    HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

    :lmao: :rotfl:

    Grammy's are shit!

confessions did as well as it did in the u.s. because of word of mouth and because the album was great. and "4 minutes" was huge here. either of those things can happen again. but any artist who's 60 is going to have a hard time. hell, anyone over 40.

Not as much in other places. That's what I'm saying.

But her career has ALWAYS been more successful in Europe and Latin America since as far back as True Blue and yet she's the top female singles Artist of all time in the US and the 2nd top female album seller after Streisand.

    Amazing

Yes, but what I'm saying is Europe and Latin America continued to support her after Confessions while the United States kinda dumped her.

I agree that International markets are necessary, but in the end, it's her home country where the biggest success will come from. It's going to be difficult being U.S. market is so ageist.  We can pretend that it shoudln't matter, but it does play a huge role to any album she releases.

I'm so happy that she is an international artist because any album she releases still can sell decently well globally.

Well, exactly. So why she should focus on that place? She's a global artist and for more than 10 years now her career has been way more succesful in Europe and Latin America. Maybe it's time to pay attention to those who pay attention to her? I'm not talking just from an ego point of view, but also about money. There are more financial opportunities elsewhere in the world.
