    I'm here for the double single strategy and it's very exciting to know in two weeks we'll have a new song to sink our teeth into but I really hope they don't let this just fall by the wayside. This song is a grower and it's too good to neglect! Loving more with every listen.

    Rate = EXCELLENT

    This is her most bullshit free lead single since HU. Last time we had the leaks that messed everything up, GMAYL had terrible reception from the get-go, 4M had the "trend chasing" argument. Even HU had naysayers, especially at first.....but most came around because the song was great. Really feel like that will be the case here as the era progresses, regardless of whether it turns into a hit or not. It's just pure Madonna.

    I feel that too. Maybe they should wait a little more for a second single. Maybe the week before the Eurovision. Give Medellín at least a month of slaying our hearts before comes another and takes the crown :dramatic:

    Thing can’t get any better. How I’d love to attend, shake M’s hand, give her a hug and say how great her new song is. Security would stop me though, haha. This event will be filmed right?

    It will be broadcasted live!

    This review mentions some of the other songs on the album...

    Influenced creatively by living in Lisbon, Portugal over the past several years, Madame X is a collection of 15 new songs that celebrate Madonna’s career-long affair with Latin music and culture as well as other global influences. Singing in Portuguese, Spanish and English, highlights on the album include ‘Medellín’” which was co-produced by Mirwais and captures the spirit of Maluma’s hometown, the anthemic song ‘I Rise’, the Jamaican dancehall vibes of ‘Future’ featuring Quavo, and co-produced by Diplo, as well as the sonically innovative Mirwais produced ‘Dark Ballet’. Recorded over 18 months in Portugal, London, New York and Los Angeles, Madonna collaborated on Madame X with longtime producer Mirwais, as well as with producers Mike Dean and Diplo, among others.

    That paragraph is part of the press release
