It’s scary that the CDU is vomiting the xenophobia that is usually expected for AFD. In Spain the equivalent to the CDU fell in vote intention when did the same and fueled the popularity of the far right.
thank god most other leaders of the party were appalled but seems fishing on the right edge is en vogue. I just hope that before we have the next elections he will be out of the leadership position. Our current chancellor is also often missing in action as well, even worse than Merkel had been.

That statement is not funded on real data either, and Merz is known to produce plenty of gaffes such as presenting himself as ordinary person (which just happens to have villas, private planes etc). You know a statement is bad if the politician in question retracts it just the day after and every leading politician in your own party calls it unfounded and just wrong and un-called for.

and seems Macron is re-elected

and Russia just released their equivalent of the axis of evil, declared either unfriendly or evil, which means all trading with companies from these countries need special permits, so much for those (also from the Putin goverment side) who declared sanctions will not do any big harm to Russia.
The list does include obviously Ukraine, but also Canada, Japan, US, UK all of the EU, but also countries like Taiwan, Singapore, Monaco, San Marino, Switzerland, Montenegro, Norway.
Oh and while people share plans to divide Ukraine (BTW has anybody also considered dividing the US, France, Germany, the UK, Italy, Spain too based on political preference, last time I checked blue and red states did show quite a huge difference in voting pattern too if we go by recent elections or go 10 years back, or does that only serve as argument for treating "irrelevant" Eastern European Countries such as Georgia, Moldova, Bosnia-Herzegovina and all Baltic states)
Also the 2004 election was only possible after the Orange revolution after Yanukovych declared himself the winner of the second round through electoral fraud and it had to be redone, also worth mentioning his supporters poisoned his main opponent in this election campaign. I assume that is the revote of the second round.

well if we step back we all know who is also strongly supporting all neo-nazi and right wing parties in all EU countries, the big de-nazifier - also someone who is making use of fashist dictatorship playbooks all the time. Also pretty transparent that in the Duma the nationalist right wing was always allowed to spew their hatred on minorities too. But let's all pretend Ukraine and the West has only this right wing problem (which they in fact do) just glossing over who is strongly supporting them and thus also their big hero.

i had a slight headache and shiver the first day after getting the third shot, other than that things were fine (considering it happened to be the coldest day of the year so far, feeling cold might have happened anyway too)

got my second shot today - so far so good

isn't it nice when a committee of men want to decide what other people should think, maybe it is time to leave this club of rusty old men, maybe also time they should loose privileges in German speaking countries, based on old political decisions as back as 1803

Sorry, I was copying the link posted here. Glad it is not real and a satire as just too obscene for words.
Oh I did totally believe the article was real myself, and like others commented on we did hear these reborn christian again priest praising him as the new "man sent from god" previously - only realized that the photo was clearly not (it is my favourite spot of Paris which I have been at so many times that I just know it, when I see it)
-
it is though from a satire site, although I could have seen it being real myself.

You don’t understand these people. They think he’s Jesus. It’s there.
I have not doubt, that they manufactured a stain glass window, I just doubt they managed to have one, which looks remotely like the one in the picture posted. I am pretty sure that is rather a doctored photo of an actually fantastic looking chapel - instead of the real thing they did.

In the Chapel! This is blasphemy! These Christofascists are sick.
I doubt that is in fact the chapel - it looks pretty much photo-shopped to me.

That window! DISTURBING!!!
unless the actually cloned Sainte Chapelle - i would call it a fake photoshopped window (it is in fact the whole front of Saint Chapelle in Paris, with the Rosetta window removed. So whatever they did - I doubt it does indeed look like that

I had always visited Notre Dame when i went to Paris - and planned to do so this week again, when visiting Paris. Absolutely devastating. I just hope something new will come out of it, when they will rebuilt. I just hope the original facade will make it through.

It's refreshing if people would really get to their senses. I just hope it also works out that way in the US.

It seems to happen quite frequently lately. Wasn't Julia Gillard forced out too (after she forced out her predecessor before - who was the one to take office again after her).

and just listen to his speech - seems his supporters even don't KNOW what the Russia thing is about, and neither did his side ACTUALLY win by millions of votes - they won by quite a bit in the electoral college. But I doubt a huge fraction of his supporters either knows or actually cares, but we know he produces lies about everything, so why should I be surprised.

at least German news report - that this is FAKE. The council is made up of 39 women, these men on the photo are the guests of honour for the first meeting (not that the situation of women in Saudi-Arabia should urgently be improved). They claim this photo and news attached to it originate from Syria.

Because more than half of this board was stanning for Hillary Fucking Clinton. Needless to say that his own party sabotaged his nomination. They screwed him over.
well he decided it was HIS party though only in 2015, so it is not really that suprising that they didn't support him with flying colors once he "graced" them with his presence. And I know many people who actually liked Clinton more - those do exist. Needless to say that some of his butthurt supporters rather decided not to vote out of the "evilness" of the party. In some states the difference was only of the order of 10 000s, though these few votes might have been crucial as well.

If we talk about Sweden they have the toughest harassment laws - someone who absolutely adores Putin and Trump sitting in the Ecuadorian embassy in London might be able to tell you something about it

I am sure many people in Eastern Europe and Le Pen and our very own right wing parties are ready to applaud him even more.

This does not come as surprise at all. He was hated by a large minority already previously, particularly young people. He tried to reshape jurisdiction in his favour, so he couldn't be tried for corruption. Close to a million have been protesting for months already for about half a year.
