    Bitch I'm Madonna

    :confessions:
  2. I agree that this song is not getting the attention it deserves. This is the most Major Lazer-influenced song on the album, but it still sounds 100% a Madonna song. The Queen doing reggae: OUT OF THIS WORLD... Why's It So Hard has some strokes of reggae in it, but this time she went all out and it's AH-MAH-ZING.

It's still such a dream come true for me that she ended up working with Diplo. A few years ago I made a thread about it in the General Music section and everyone was like DAFUQ?... I feel like I won the lottery, bitches!

Needs to be a single. A Summer single.

What about a Reggae section in the RH Tour? This could be the "world music" section and let the latino/gypsy thing rest for a bit.

  3. I've been trying really hard to like the album version... Actually, it's not that I don't like it, I think it's fine... But I fell in love with the demo/Avicii dance version since december. If we never had heard the demo version, I'm not sure if my opinion would be different, though.

I'm thinking it's pretty safe to assume that she's gonna do this song on tour, right? I'm sure I will fall in love with the album version (if the performance is based on it) after we see/hear it live.

Maybe she should've kept the "rebeeel hea-ah-ah-ah-rt" vocoded part with the final version... no? I think that's my fav thing about the dance demo.

  4. No really, since pretty much all of my 20s are based on bad relationship experiences and a lot of heartbreak, at the top of my head I can relate a lot to Across The Sky. I know it's weird to pick an unreleased song, but these lyrics:

    I’m no stranger to deception
I have lied and been lied to
    I’m no paragon of virtue
I have never been a righteous soul
    And I don’t pretend I am

    Damn.

Also, Living For Love was written pretty much about me, in case you didn't know.

  5. Oh nope. Those who loath the unapologetic tracks are more like Rayoflighters.

I'm sure that if Madonna knew just how stupid some of those ROL fans are, she would vow never to sing a song from that album.

yeah, they need to get over it. It's been 200 years since Ray Of Light and they're still waiting for the sequel. Well... they can keep on waiting.

In the mean time, I'm gonna go twerk a little to Holy Water in the office bathroom.

  6. You people are fools. Rebel Heart is DOA. Worse then MDNA. Last week she only sold 11000 copies dropping to at least #19 maybe lower, LFL was an universal bomb. Ghostown is a good song but mark my works, another bomb as will BIM. RH is a bland album and certainly not a comeback and this is being said from a fan since Holiday originally hit the airwaves. It's over. The queen has been slain Her time is over. She knows this. I hope she continues to make music but having huge hits again, will never happen. Stop living in delusionland.

Was that a fart I heard?

  7. I'm so glad that this one was the one she selected from the "preachy" demos to be on the album. I was afraid that she was gonna include "Freedom"

It was my favorite of the preachy bunch back then, and now the final released version is lovely,

I agree about the amazing melody, the great lyrics and the somwehat 80s-ish vocals. :inlove:

I wonder if this is gonna be the political/preachy interlude/segment on tour this time.

I just love this record so much!!!
